The world of Insurance Youth is a non-profit program that offers an environment for career learning to youth here in the U.S.A. and around the globe . The measure of success for our efforts will be the completion of an internship program which helps youth gain valuable experience in the insurance industry.
Mission Statement
The Insurance Youth program seeks to develop the leadership potential of youth from the USA and around the world, through a structured internship program in the insurance industry and by promoting the insurance industry to the younger generation of future leaders.
Goals
For Youth:
- Character and career development by gaining experience and leadership opportunities
For Insurance Carriers, Agencies, and/or Insurance Associations:
- Resource value to insurance industry to find future management candidates
For Universities and Colleges:
- A stronger channel for recruitment into which a college/university department can tap, thereby helping more students.
