Why Us?

How would the Insurance Youth program benefit me?

So what is this program about and how does it affect you?  This question and many more might occur to you if you’re a potential “Insurance Youth”

The pilot initiative represents the beginning steps for the world of Insurance Youth. Gaining opportunities to work in the insurance industry through this program is a comfortable and friendly way to set that intern up for success. Currently we only provide United States based Youth exchange where you would be eligible to intern in an insurance related company within the country. We aim to expand the program in subsequent years to provide internship opportunities overseas.

Besides that, as part of the Youth Exchange program, you will get to learn from the very best in the insurance industry with the mentorship initiative of this program. This program will provide you with the initial skills and  exposure to succeed as a future leader in the insurance industry.

Through the internship, you will learn the workings and management of insurance companies from industrial experts;  and pick up skills in management practices, operations handling, and strategic planning. At the same time, the program will enhance your ability to conduct investigations and analysis and help improve communications skills. In addition to developing business skills in the insurance industry,  students have the opportunity to widen horizons via travel and independent living through the internship.

The Program’s Youth Group

The interns will be encouraged to socialize with each other through the online portal as well as during events designed to help the participants with their networking skills. These activities will form a support group for the participants and provide a good way for the program to gather feedback about what went well with the program and internship, as well as what hasn’t gone so well.
